HIMACHAL PRADES MBBS COUNSELLING AND ADMISSION PROCESS 2025

Atal Medical & Research University, Himachal Pradesh is the counselling authority for Conducting MBBS/ BDS Counselling and Admission Process in 85% Seats in All Government Medical and Dental Colleges and 100% Seats of Self Financing Private Medical and Dental Colleges of Himachal Pradesh for NEET UG 2025 Qualified Students.

The authority has started the Himachal Pradesh MBBS/ BDS online Registration and application Process form 2025 on (Date not Announced). The Following Official websites  to register for Himachal Pradesh MBBS 2025 admission are https://amruhp.ac.in/

The authority has also released the Himachal Pradesh MBBS/ BDS prospectus for Government Quota Seats, Management/ NRI Quota Seats which can be downloaded from the above official websites. The last date to fill the application form of Himachal Pradesh MBBS/ BDS 2025 is (Date not Announced) and  the due date to submission of receipt is (Date not Announced) . The remaining 15% seats in all Government Medical and Dental colleges Counselling and admissions will be done by Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) on the basis of marks obtained in NEET 2025 under All India Quota.

Based on the NEET 2025 marks released by NTA filled in the application form, the authority will release the Himachal Pradesh MBBS merit list 2025 containing the names of eligible aspirants, state merit rank, roll number, category and NEET marks scored. Candidates who are shortlisted in the state merit list will be called for Himachal Pradesh MBBS/ BDS 2025 counselling conducted in online mode by Atal Medical & Research University, Himachal Pradesh. During the seat allotment process, students have to provide their choices of colleges and courses. HIMACHAL PRADESH MBBS IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

• The online submission of application form for admission to MBBS/ BDS Degree Courses 2025-2026 session in Himachal Pradesh Government Medical / Dental Colleges, Government seats in Self- Financing Medical / Dental Colleges affiliated to the Himachal Pradesh University and ESIC Medical College-Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri Government Medical College, Mandi (ESIC) can be accessed from the following official websites:, https://amruhp.ac.in/

• The admissions in the State of Himachal Pradesh are as per the provisions of the Government of Himachal Pradesh and in compliance to the amendment to section 10(D) of Indian Medical Council of Act, 1956 presently superseded by the Board of Governors in Supersession of Medical Council of India and section 10(D) of Dental Council of India Act, 1948 and the orders of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India, the eligibility for admission to MBBS / BDS Degree Courses within the respective categories shall be based solely on marks obtained in the National Eligibility-Cum-Entrance Test (NEET UG – 2025).

• As per Clause 1(c) of the NEET Information Bulletin 2025 issued by the National Testing Agency, the reservation of the seats in Medical / Dental Colleges for respective categories shall be as per applicable laws prevailing in State of Himachal Pradesh.

• From the total number of MBBS / BDS seats available in the Government Medical / Dental Colleges, 15% of the seats are surrendered to All India Quota and the remaining 85% of seats are allotted to State Quota for the academic year 2025-2026 whereas in Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri Government Medical College, Mandi (ESIC) , the Government has sanctioned an annual intake of 120 students of which 36 seats earmarked for the wards of ESIC Employees' State Insurance Corporation members who are contributing to the Insurance Fund, which will be done ahead of All category counselling.

• Seat sharing with Self-Financing Medical / Dental Colleges will be as per State Policy and Medical Council of India / Dental Council of India regulations and applicable court orders.

• Selection Committee will not be responsible for the consequences, resulting due to non-diligent follow-up of notices, notifications and publications appearing on the websites regarding counselling and admission to MBBS / BDS Degree Courses for 2025-2026 academic year.

• Rank List will be available on our official websites and results will not be communicated individually.

• Use of mobile phones will be strictly prohibited in the Counselling hall.

• Any change or modification and relevant information pertaining to this counselling / admission process will be made available on the official websites.

• Candidates are advised to download the prospectus and read it carefully along with parents/guardian before filling the online application form and ensure that no mandatory column is left blank. In the event of rejection of the application form, no correspondence and request for re-consideration will be entertained.

HIMACHAL PRADESH MBBS/ BDS GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

Candidates seeking admission to MBBS / BDS Degree Courses in Himachal Pradesh Government Medical / Dental Colleges includingShri Lal Bahadur Shastri Government Medical College, Mandi (ESIC) and Government seats in Self-Financing Medical / Dental Colleges affiliated to the Himachal Pradesh University can access the application form from the following official websites.

Candidates should submit their filled in online application form after uploading the details in the required fields. (Refer Prospectus). The cost of application form of Rs.Online Application Fee Details:  For General/NRI OBC & Other Categories: 2000  For SC/ST/Persons with Disability (PwD) Categories: 1000

The last date for submission of online application form will be upto 5:00 P.M. on (Date not Announced). Thereafter there is no provision for the candidates to submit their online application form.

Incomplete application without necessary enclosures or insufficient particulars or those received after the last date mentioned will be summarily rejected without intimation to the candidates.

 

Himachal Pradesh NEET UG 2024 Counselling Registration:-

Step 1: Online Registration

• Click On The Registration Link.
• Fill In Your Details, Including:

Step 2: Upload Documents

• You’ll Be Prompted To Upload The Following Documents:
  • Recent Color Photograph With A White Background (15kb-100kb), Dimention of the photograf should be 150 pixel width and 200 pixels height in jpg/ jpeg formet.
  • Signature On White Paper With Blue/Black Ink (4kb-100kb), Dimention of the photograf should be 150 pixel width and 100 pixels height in jpg/ jpeg formet.
  • Other Relevant Documents (E.G., Category Certificates, Qualification Certificates) As A Single PDF File (Size Not Exceeding 500 KB).
  • PDF format of Certificates The following certificates in PDF format should be kept ready and the same must be uploaded in the application portal. This is mandatory for all candidates.
  • Class X Certificate Candidate’s Class X (SSLC) Certificate is mandatory and to be uploaded in the online application.
  • Proof for Nativity Birth Certificate/SSLC Certificate/Passport showing the candidate’s place of birth. For details of other documents as Nativity Proof, see Prospectus Clause 6.1.1.
  • Proof for Date of Birth PDF format of date of birth proof must be uploaded in the application portal. 

Step 3: Preview Uploaded Images

• After Uploading, Preview The Uploaded Images.
• Ensure That Your Photograph And Signature Are Clearly Visible In The Appropriate Spaces.
• If The Images Are Not Satisfactory, You Can Re-Upload Them Following The Same Procedure.
• Confirm That The Spaces For Photograph And Signature Are Not Swapped.

Step 4: Declaration And Final Submission

• Review All Filled Information.
• If All Details Are Correct, Select The ‘Declaration’ Checkbox.
• Click On The Final SUBMIT Button.
• After Submission, An Application/Registration Number Will Be Generated.
• You Will Receive An Email And SMS With The Application Number And Password. Keep These For Future Reference.

Step 5: Application Fee Payment

• Click On The Provided Link For Fee Payment.
• Follow The Instructions To Complete The Payment.
• Payment Can Be Made Through Internet Banking, Debit Card, Or Credit Card.
• After Payment, Save The Payment Slip For Reference.
• Bank Charges/Payment Gateway Charges Are The Applicant’s Responsibility.
• Ensure Payment Is Made Within The Due Date.

Step 1: Registration

• Verify The Information For Accuracy.
• Submit The Registration Form.

Step 2: Documents Verification

• Once Registered, You’ll Receive A Notification About Document Verification.
• Attend The Document Verification Session At The Designated Center.
• Bring The Required Documents, Including:
  • NEET UG Admit Card And Rank Card
  • Class 10th And 12th Mark Sheets And Certificates

Step 4: Seat Allotment

1. The Counseling Authority Will Conduct The Seat Allotment Process Based On Your Choices And NEET UG Rank.
2. Check The Seat Allotment Result On The Official Website Using Your Login Credentials.
3. If You’re Satisfied With The Allotted Seat, You Have The Option To Accept It.
4. If Not, You Can Participate In Subsequent Rounds Of Counseling.

Step 5: Reporting To Allotted College

• If You Accept The Allotted Seat, You Must Report To The Respective College Within The Specified Timeframe.
• Pay The Required Admission Fees And Complete The Admission Formalities.

Step 6: Upgradation (Optional)
