Arunachal Pradesh has only one Government Medical College that is Tomo Riba Institute of Health & Medical Sciences, Naharlagun and it was established in the year 2018 and Affiliated with Rajeev Gandhi University. The Tomo Riba Institute of Health and Medical Sciences college and hospital have 100 MBBS seats and a 500 bedded hospital. The Institute is named after Tomo Riba, 2nd chief minister of Arunachal Pradesh.
